BlackBerry collectors rejoice – the final piece of your collection has finally been spotted in a blurry spy pic. A BlackBerry featuring a dual slide-out keyboard and touchscreen interface has been spotted on the spy circuit, complete with out-of-focus picture. The fact it’s (apparently) sporting a touchscreen has prompted a number of people to assume this is the Storm3, although that would be a real departure from the click-screen tech of the first two. One of a kind Far more likely is that this is a standalone device in the BlackBerry range, much like the Pearl Flip 8220 , a pre-cursor to a new form factor. The spy picture also shows a device very similar to the Palm Pre, which would be an interesting direction from RIM

Microsoft has gone further into the details of Xbox on its Windows Phone 7 Series platform, and the way that its popular gaming service will be tied into its mobile OS. Joe Belfiore – the vice president of Windows Phone – was the man who showed off the details of the Windows 7 and he saved the Xbox integration until last. Windows Phone 7 Series handsets will have premium games and will make the Xbox Live experience central to the gaming on the mobile phone – adding gamer scores from the console, casual games that are tied to the Xbox profile and, presumably, an integration with Windows Games. Of course, this may see PlayStaion users questioning whether this is the right handset for them, but for Xbox fans, the integration will be a major selling point for phones using Microsoft’s latest mobile OS

We had previously covered a tool called Internet Explorer Collection that allows you run all major versions (IE 1.0 to 8.0) of Internet Explorer simultaneously. This time around we have a similar tool for Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla Firefox Collection is a handy tool developed by Edskes Software for Windows, which contains multiple versions of Firefox browser.

Unlike these, though, you won’t find Family Tree Builder in shops – it’s only available by download, as are other respected programs such as Ancestral Quest, Genbox and Master Genealogist. Just like its peers, Family Tree Builder offers several advantages over drawing family trees on rolls of wallpaper and keeping your creased notes in hidden away in a box. You only have to enter names, dates and places once, and you don’t have to redraw diagrams and rewrite notes to accommodate new family members.
