Opera finally released the final version of Opera 10.50 browser just a few minutes back. At the same time, Google has also released the 4.1 beta with a few new features taken from its upcoming Chrome 5.0 version. As may know, Opera 10.50 comes with Aero Glass effect for Windows 7 and Vista operating systems. It also supports Windows 7’s features such as Aero Peek , and Jump List .

Microsoft’s made it official– it’s taking another crack at the smartphone market with the “next generation” Windows Phone platform: Windows Phone 7. Microsoft says Windows Phone 7 will bring together “the content people care about” , including applications and Internet. And, for the first time, bring Xbox LIVE games and Zune music and video to a mobile phone. Windows Phone 7 is designed as a “holistic” system that “informs every aspect of the phone.” The Start screen contains “dynamically updated “live tiles”” which show users real-time content.

Spotify has announced it has overhauled its Discovery feature and added a new Related Artists’ tab. This will comes as good news to the thousands of Spotify fans who use the service but want to find music which suits their palette. The recommendation engine will be powered by the company’s own metadata which contains ‘cross-referenced data collected over millions of user listening hours’.
